Yup, i also agree with SEO's post. Your site should have a combination of dofollow and nofollow links. Nofollow are good for ranking in search engine but dofollow on very popular blog on the niche you choice than you will get targeted visitor for that popular blog. I believe nofollow and dofollow is important in both..for example you got nofollow blog on the niche you choice and you will not leave the opportunity to miss not to give a link juice to your page. If you find a dofollow blog and you will see that alexa ranking is very low so you will understand clearly that that blog gets huge amount of visitors depending on the niche you choice.

Forums is a great source of traffic and promotion,but we shouldn't rely only on them as there are other ways of promotion.
