I have recently noticed if your web page have more then 25 outbound links, its not healthy for SEO. When google spiders crawl your web page and found lots of outgoing link, that could effect on your pagerank and keyword weight. You would have downfall in your regular traffic. Large number of outbound links is consider as link farming and it could leave negative effects on your website.

And what if you have a backlink from a page with lots of outgoing links? Does it affect your site negatively?

But 25 links is not many.I know that some site have more and they are not considered like link farming or something of the kind.
