More backlinks is better. If you do link exchange with website, which has 5000 pages, You can get 5000 backlinks. Just check that your link is placed on each pages.

Exactly.The more back links you will get, the better it will be.The link building methods are more effective for getting more back links.They help to get more traffic.This traffic also bring the back links.The back links help to improve the indexing and also the PR of the site.

Well, but it shouldn't look like spamming in fact. You need links for the site, but not huge amounts
