I had recently hired one company to design new wordpress theme for my website. They had designed my theme very beautifully, but as its custom made template, I am afraid to update wordpress version. I am not sure how long I can hold the older version, wordpress is updating version almost every week. Is there any drawback to keep older version in wordpress?
